Lee Hoffman, LCSW
Lee has practiced psychotherapy since 1991 and continues to enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Her practice is informed by a sense of empathy, the strengths of her clients, and current findings on treatment effectiveness. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), coaching and clinical hypnosis. Lee teaches Mindfulness Meditation as part of her busy private practice with Pelts-Kirkhart and Associates located just off St. Charles Avenue.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from SLU (Hammond), a Master of Social Work degree from LSU Baton Rouge and a Post-Master's Certificate in Child, Couples and Family Therapy from Tulane University. Mrs. Hoffman is a former full-time associate faculty member at Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.
She loves animals, making art and jewelry, local music and reading psychological mysteries.
